On November 4, lawyer Irakli Zakareishvili published a video, which allegedly shows the killing of Israeli citizens by Jewish soldiers. “There are Jewish soldiers both inside and outside! At the end of the video, you will see the people inside killed!” – we read in the description of the video.
The video is being disseminated with a false description and the last part of the video shows people killed by Hamas. The first part of the video footage was published by the Telegram channel “The Slaughter” on November 2, and according to their own information, the video was shot on October 7, the day Hamas terrorists invaded Israel. The second part of the video, in which we see people being killed, was released by Hamas as proof of the Hamas invasion of the Israeli military base on the Zikim beach on October 8.
The disseminated footage represents a montage of two different videos. The first video of the Hamas surprise attack was shot by a civilian and can be found on Telegram. The video, which shows unarmed youngsters inside the building and what is believed to be an IDF soldier, appeared on the Telegram channel “the slaughter” on November 2. The conversation of young people can also be heard in the video. An English translation of the conversation is attached to the video. In the video, along with the conversation of confused young people, we hear the words of a soldier – “Hamas units are on the beach. Snipers and I don’t know what else.”
The Slaughter is a Telegram channel with the main purpose of collecting evidence of the massacre organized by Hamas terrorists on the territory of Israel on October 7.
As for the last 20-second section of the video, the mentioned footage was released by the Hamas Al-Qassam Brigade itself on October 8. The video depicts an attack by Hamas terrorists on a military base on the Israeli territory of Zikim. A 1-minute video was published on the Telegram channel of the Al-Qassam Brigade, from which the footage was distributed on various platforms. In the video, we see how the terrorists entered the Israeli territory from the coast of Zikim using boats and attacked the military base and the nearby settlement. It is in the video of Hamas terrorists that shows their actions that we can see the bodies of dead people.
Zikim Beach was one of the first targets of the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel. Hamas invaded the settlement both by water and by land.
