The ceiling in the picture is badly damaged, however, the light fixture is still attached and working, which would not be possible with such extensive damage. Part of the lamp is actually “fixed” on the shore of the ruins, and part of it is connected to the open space.
Doctors don’t have faces – the part of the face where the doctors’ eyes are supposed to be is solid and skin-colored – even in a low-quality image the eyes would still be a different color to separate them from the rest of the face. In the center of this part of the picture, in the strip of light, a dark-colored line can be seen, which looks like a crack, and it is not clear what it could represent, since there must be emptiness in this part of the room. The light, which is usually created by the lamp, emits as if it “rises” from the patient, and not from above.
The doctor in the background of the photo is depicted in an unnatural position, his back is strangely bulging, and at first glance, he should be kneeling, although his legs are not fully shown in the photo.
It is also worth noting that the results obtained using Google’s reverse image search show that the photo was spread on social networks and has not been covered by reliable media outlets.
This AI-generated visual was used as the cover photo by the South American media outlet teleSUR, which is funded by the governments of Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, and Nicaragua. teleSUR attributed the photo to X (Twitter) user @SpiritofHo (Danny Haiphong), who publishes pro-Palestinian posts on his page.
As of now, no similar photo is available on X user Danny Haiphong’s page. However, in the comments of one of his posts, a user posted a screenshot that Haipong posted the photo, and the post has a note added by users of the platform. According to the note, the post is generated by artificial intelligence and the operation would not be possible under the conditions shown in the image.
