The Centre was established in 2013 by the International Relations Institute by “Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Support Fund” which was launched by the order of the President of the Russian Federation and the Georgian Institute of International relations. The center provides free Russian languages courses and supports various events. Dimitri Lortkipanidze, former member of the Democratic Movement – United Georgia is a director of Primakov center since March of 2018.
