Industry Will Save Georgia was established in 1999. The political party was against the involvement of international financial institutions in the country’s economy. It stood for the 2012 parliamentary elections as a member of Georgian Dream coalition. In 2016, just before the elections, the political party left the coalition due to anti-western statements of its leader, Gogi Topadze. However, after the 2016 elections, the political party joined the majority again through a parliamentary faction Georgian Dream – Entrepreneurs.
