Sandro Gigauri has been working as the English Content Editor at the Media Development Foundation’s fact-checking platform “Myth Detector” since July 2021, specializing in information environment research. He has co-authored a number of publications, including: ‘Russian Information Warfare: Two Months After the Invasion in Ukraine” and “Media Literacy Sector Mapping in Georgia.”Before joining MDF, Sandro was a contributor analyst at Oxford Analytica, an international consultancy company focused on geopolitical analysis and advisory.
Sandro holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Central European University and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Tbilisi State University. He is a recipient of the Erasmus+ scholarship, spending one academic year at the University of Salzburg. Sandro has also spent a semester at Bard College New York in the framework of the Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program (BGIA).
